How do I clean the shoes?
For mesh: hand wash with mild soap. For leather: wipe with a damp cloth and use leather cream.
What is the weight of the shoe?
The weight varies by size. A Men’s US 9 weighs approximately [e.g., 380g].
Your MOQ is too high. I just want to test the market. Can you lower it?
I completely understand. To minimize your risk, we offer two options:
I can’t afford to buy 500 pairs at once.
We understand cash flow is important. How about this: We produce the full 500 pairs (to meet our factory requirements), but we ship them to you in two batches. You only pay for the second batch when we ship it next month. This way, you only need the capital for 250 pairs now.
I don’t want 500 pairs of one style. I want 5 styles with 100 pairs each.
That’s a great strategy for testing. We can do that! However, if 100 pairs per style is below our standard MOQ for that specific shoe, we may need to charge a small “small lot fee” or slightly increase the price per pair. Alternatively, for our stock models, we offer much lower MOQ for mixed styles.
Is there a difference between custom MOQ and stock MOQ?
Yes, absolutely. For custom designs (OEM), the MOQ is usually higher (e.g., 500 pairs/color) due to mold and setup costs. For our ready-made stock models, the MOQ is much lower (e.g., 100 pairs) and you can mix colors and sizes freely.
My warehouse is full. I can’t take 1000 pairs now.
No problem. We offer “Warehousing & Staging” service. We produce the full 1000 pairs, but we store them in our bonded warehouse. We ship 300 pairs to you now, and you pay a small monthly storage fee for the rest. When you sell out, we ship the next batch. This solves your space issue.
What is the absolute minimum you can do?
The absolute minimum depends on the complexity. For simple slip-ons or canvas shoes, we can go as low as 200 pairs. For complex running shoes with air soles, the MOQ is higher (500+). What specific style are you interested in? I can check the exact minimum for that line.
Why do European customers often complain that round-toe shoes are “too tight” or “not stylish”?
This is because the majority of Europeans have “Greek Feet” (where the second toe is longer than the big toe). They also typically have high insteps and narrow heels.
Why do American customers often say the shoes are “too narrow” even if the length fits?
American feet tend to be wider and have a lower instep compared to Asians or Europeans. Due to lifestyle and dietary habits, they often have thicker subcutaneous fat on the feet, making the overall volume larger.
Why do Asian customers often complain about “pinched forefeet” or “tight insteps”?
The majority of Asians have “Egyptian Feet” (big toe is the longest). The characteristic is a high instep but a relatively wide forefoot.
What are the special requirements for shoes sold in the Middle East or Latin America?
Customers in these regions often have very wide forefeet and short, thick toes (often “Square Feet” where the first three toes are almost the same length).
Why does the light not work when I first receive the shoes?
The light switch is usually located near the heel or tongue. Please check if the switch is turned on. If it still doesn’t work, please press the switch several times to ensure good contact. (Note: Some models have a pressure switch that activates when you step.)
Is the lighting effect waterproof? Can I wear them in the rain?
The LED components are sealed to protect against splashes, but we do not recommend wearing them in heavy rain or submerging them in water. Prolonged exposure to water may cause the battery to corrode or short-circuit.
What type of battery does it use? Is it replaceable?
Most of our light-up shoes use built-in rechargeable lithium batteries. For safety and waterproofing, the battery is usually sealed and not user-replaceable. However, the battery life typically lasts for 1-2 years with regular use.
How long does the battery last on a single charge?
Depending on the model (steady light vs. flashing), the battery usually lasts between 8 to 15 hours of continuous use. If the light is dimming, it means the battery is low and needs recharging.
Why is the shoe making a “crackling” sound when I step?
This is usually caused by the internal circuit board or battery pack rubbing against the insole or midsole. It is not a quality defect, but a characteristic of the current design. We are working on improving the fixation of the electronic module in future batches.
How do I charge the shoes?
Please locate the charging port (usually hidden under a rubber cap on the heel or side). Connect the provided USB cable to a standard phone charger or power bank. The light will usually turn red when charging and green/blue when fully charged.
Can I overcharge the shoes?
Our batteries have built-in overcharge protection circuits. However, for safety reasons, we recommend unplugging the charger after 2-3 hours. Do not charge the shoes unattended overnight.
The light is flashing abnormally. What should I do?
Abnormal flashing usually indicates low battery voltage or poor contact. Please try charging the shoes fully. If the problem persists, please contact us for a replacement module.
Do the light-up shoes feel heavier than regular shoes?
Yes, they are slightly heavier (approx. 100-200g more) due to the battery pack and circuitry in the heel. We design the weight distribution to be balanced, but you may feel a slight difference initially.
Is there a hard object under the insole? It feels uncomfortable.
Yes, the hard object is the battery or circuit module. We recommend not removing the insole, as it protects the electronics. If the discomfort is severe, please try wearing thicker socks.
Are light-up shoes suitable for long-distance walking?
They are designed for casual wear and short walks. Due to the slightly harder heel (to protect the battery) and extra weight, they may not be as comfortable as professional athletic shoes for long distances.
Is the battery safe? Can it explode?
We use certified lithium batteries with protection against overcharge, over-discharge, and short circuits. As long as you follow the usage instructions (avoiding water, puncturing, or disassembling), the shoes are safe.
Can children disassemble the shoe and swallow the battery?
The shoes are designed with sealed construction, making it difficult for children to access the battery. However, we always recommend that children wear them under adult supervision.

Pricing & Orders

Can you handle large volume orders?
Absolutely. We have the supply chain and workforce to manage large-scale orders efficiently.
What’s your price for this style?
The price depends on the quantity and materials. Could you please tell me your target quantity?
Can you give me a better price?
The price is already competitive based on the quality. However, for larger quantities, we can offer a discount.
What’s your MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity)?
Our standard MOQ is 600 pairs per color, per style.
Is the price inclusive of shipping?
No, the price I quoted is the factory price (EXW) or FOB price. Shipping costs are calculated separately.
What factors affect the final price?
The main factors are upper material, outsole type, order quantity, packaging requirements, and shipping method.
Do you offer discounts for long-term cooperation?
Yes, we value long-term partners and can offer preferential pricing and better terms for regular orders.
What is your payment term?
We usually require 30% deposit by T/T, and 70% balance before shipment.
Can I change the order quantity after placing the order?
Changes are possible only before we purchase the materials. After that, it may not be feasible.
Do you have a price list?
We don’t have a fixed price list as prices vary by season and material. Please send me the styles you like, and I’ll quote you.
How do I place a trial order?
You can place a trial order with a smaller quantity (e.g., 100-200 pairs) to test the market.
Can you match this price from another supplier?
We focus on quality and service. If our quality is better, we cannot match a lower price from a lower-tier factory.
Are there any hidden costs?
No, we are transparent. The costs include product price, mold fee (if applicable), and shipping.
What is the cost of opening a new mold?
The mold cost (for upper + sole) is approximately USD 2000. This is a one-time fee.
Can you do rush orders?
Yes, but we may need to charge a 10-15% rush fee to pay for overtime labor.
What are your shipping terms?
We offer EXW, FOB, and CIF. Most customers prefer FOB [Your Port] or CIF [Destination Port].
What if I want to cancel the order?
If materials are already purchased, you will need to cover the material cost and a cancellation fee.
I only need 100 pairs now. Why do I have to order 500?
The MOQ is set to cover the fixed costs of setting up the production line (cutting molds, sole molds, and worker setup time). Producing 100 pairs would cost us nearly the same as 500 pairs, making the unit price very high. By ordering 500, you get the best possible price and inventory for future sales.
Can we start with a smaller quantity and pay a higher price?
Yes, we can accommodate a smaller quantity (below MOQ) at a higher unit price. Typically, orders below MOQ incur a 10-15% price increase to cover the additional handling and setup costs. Would you like me to recalculate the quote for 200 pairs?
Do you offer drop shipping if I order below MOQ?
For orders below MOQ, we usually require you to pick up the goods or pay for the freight, as the volume isn’t enough to negotiate good freight rates. However, if you reach our standard MOQ, we can discuss better shipping terms.
If I promise a big order next season, can you lower the MOQ for this first order?
We value long-term partnerships. If you can provide a Letter of Intent (LOI) for a larger order next year, we can make an exception for this trial order and lower the MOQ, perhaps with a slight price adjustment. Let’s discuss the numbers.
